Readium Desktop is a freelance project, done in 3 weeks, for the french company EDRLab. The need was to design a desktop application for reading books, from a computer or an OPDS server.
I started the project by building a complete map of the different screens, content, actions and interactions needed and how they were all linked together. The next step was to create all the wireframes needed, with a constant feedback from the company’s director and from the developper. The application had to emphasize the different reading and accessibility parameters for everyone to use (from dyslexic people to the elderly).
Eventually, I created all the design from the wireframes, as well as a working prototype in the meantime.
